Angel Rich, Founder of The Wealth Factory, reveals significant economic moments in history that have helped shape America – slavery, sharecropping, convict leasing, Little Rock Nine, Black Wall Street, Civil Rights, The Great Recession, Black Lives Matter and other important milestones – along with highlighting important figures, some lesser known, that have made these Black, financially historical moments possible through their personal diligent efforts. This book aims to help older generations remember, while enlightening younger generations on the progression of America and its direct correlation to the support of Black Americans that will inspire both groups to continuing uplifting economic social justice.

History of the Black Dollar Angel Rich Sharon Redmond Brenda Sayles Dr Maya Rockeymoore Books Reviews
I liked everything about it. We were NOT taught these things in school!
Full of the rich history not often shared in the main stream. Very educational and a special book.
Easy read of great information that should be taught in schools. My only complaint is editing. There's too many misspelled words and Ta-Hehisi Coates is referenced as a woman in the chapter about reparations. With some tightening up this could and should be added to school curriculums.
Learn't a great deal, got sad, got angry then got hopeful. You should read this.
Color does not define opportunity but opportunity can be defined by color. This book is a shining light of what people of color can do with opportunity and resources to learn about finances to break generation curses of poverty.
Ms. Rich, I hope you or someone in your camp reads this comment! I absolutely owe you 27 years worth of my gratitude! The stories of real people's lives in this book are not common knowledge! I've learned so much from this book and history is still being made as we speak. Being black in America has never been easy, but looking back gives us encouragement to push forward to a brighter future! We must be seen as equals, and should we never be seen as such, at least we know that we gave it our all and leave it generously to the next generation to take up the load! I pray many blessings unto you, your family, and all of your accomplishments! God bless!
A book needed for generation. I will be passing this book along to my peers. Education and execution is key.
